Privacy Policy

Your event data should be handled with the same care as the event itself.

This policy explains what Greeneves collects, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and how you can request deletion. Last updated: June 26, 2026.

Information We Collect

  • Account details such as name, email address, profile photo, authentication identifiers, and subscription status.
  • Event details such as titles, dates, venues, maps, RSVP settings, dress code, timelines, stories, gallery media, videos, social links, wedding party details, birthday achievements, goals, and public page preferences.
  • Guest and RSVP details such as names, emails, attendance responses, guest counts, notes, wishes, and public contribution-wall display preferences.
  • Vendor details such as business profile, contact details, service categories, bids, inquiries, and approved event relationships.
  • Contribution setup data such as payout bank, account number, resolved account name, fee settings shown to guests, and contribution records. Greeneves does not store card details.
  • Technical data such as device information, IP address, logs, app version, browser details, and diagnostics needed to secure and improve Greeneves.

How We Use Information

  • To create, host, and update public event websites.
  • To manage accounts, authentication, RSVPs, guests, vendors, templates, galleries, and dashboards.
  • To verify payout accounts, initialize web contribution payments, show fee breakdowns, and support settlement records.
  • To prevent fraud, protect accounts, debug issues, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To improve product quality, performance, design, and reliability.

Payments and Contributions

Contributions are currently intended for Nigerian events and are processed on Greeneves public web event pages through Paystack. The Android app helps hosts configure payout settings, but guest payment checkout is not processed inside the Android app. Paystack may collect payment information directly under its own privacy and security practices.

Service Providers

We use trusted providers to operate Greeneves, including Supabase for authentication/database services, Vercel for hosting, Cloudinary or similar storage services for media delivery, and Paystack for payment processing. These providers only receive information needed to provide their services to Greeneves.

Public Event Pages

Event pages are designed to be shared. Information you publish, including names, images, stories, schedules, social links, vendor details, gift visibility, and contribution-wall content, may be visible to anyone with the link. Hosts control which supported sections are enabled.

Retention and Deletion

We keep account and event data while your account is active or as needed to provide Greeneves. When you delete your account, we delete your profile and hosted event content from active systems, subject to limited retention for backups, fraud prevention, payment records, disputes, tax, accounting, and legal compliance.

Children

Greeneves is built for adult event hosts and vendors. Birthday pages may describe children when created by an adult host, but Greeneves is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used by children to create accounts.

Your Choices

  • You can edit event information, public sections, media, RSVP settings, and contribution visibility from your dashboard.
  • You can delete your account in the mobile app from Settings, or use the account deletion instructions page.
